Been reading Rice Without Rain,

When I first checked out this book at my school library, I didn't mind it that much. But since I had to read books for school and since I wanted to read, I checked this book out. Then after reading the first few pages, I started liking the book, which I couldn't stop reading it, because it was exciting, sad, and 5 thumbs up. This is a very good book and I recommand you to read this book if you want to read some Asian novels.

Maybe your thinking "I don't like dogs... why would I want to read an entire book about one?" Let me confide with you: that is exactly what I thought when I picked Marley & Me off the shelf. I have never owned a dog, and don't especially like my neighbor's dog. I have no plans to ever own a pet dog... this book definitely served to solidify my determination never to own "man's best friend".

However, whether or not you are a "dog person", there is still an awful lot to gain and enjoy while reading this book. The memories are so personal and heart-felt, at times you can completely forget Marley has anything to do with the book. But then he comes barreling back in the next paragraph, bringing humorous antics with every step.

The book starts with a young couple, John and Jenny, newly weds in Palm Beach, looking for some new challenge in life. They were deeply in love, with a great house, great careers, and not a care in the world. That lasts about 2 pages... that is until they bring Marley home. Little did they know that their lives would never be the same again.

As a ninety-seven pound Labrador retriever with more energy that an Alaskan oil rig, Marley's entry into John and Jenny's life is a whirlwind of disaster. Crashing through screen doors, destroying carpets, gouging drywall, eating jewelry are all in a day's work for the pup. Yet through it all, the book points out the unconditional love Marley has for his family, and they have for him. Just as his ruinous powers appear endless, his love and loyalty know no bounds.

In this book John Grogan takes us along to some of Marley's craziest adventures. The story of Marley being thrown out of obedience school is hilarious, mostly because of the hard nosed dog trainer who eventually has her pride fed to her by Marley in a silver doggy bowl. When Marley is cast in a local film production as the "typical family dog", we all cringe at what damage this dog can do. Sure enough, after a full day of filming a 15 second clip, the only thing Marley has accomplished is destroying the set and chewing through his leash.

One of the most memorable stories is that of the Grogan family going out on the town for a family dinner. With Marley in toe, they decide the Florida weather justifies eating outside on the patio of a ritzy restaurant. Marley is secured to the cast iron dining table, and drinks are served. However, when Marley spots another dog strutting down the road, he charges after, dragging the metal table with him, and clearing a wake several yards across. Needless to say, the family didn't take Marley out on too many family dinners there after.

A big part of Marley & Me : Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog actually has very little to do with the big animal. The book reads like a well written journal, describing the new couples excitement over their first pregnancy, and heartbreak over the subsequent miscarriage. John overcomes deep-rooted family concerns, while Jenny copes with serious depression. While the book is primarily a comical, laugh-a-minute adventure, it is definitely not without its sober moments. However, these honest and intent pages give Marley & Me the sole it needs to rise above other light-hearted tales.

Overall, Marley & Me : Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog is an excellent book that can be enjoyed by all sorts of people (even cat lovers). The stories are funny and meaningful, the drama is heartwarming and sincere, and the dog is a complete mess. In the end, Marley reminds us all that life should be lived to its fullest, that we should love people unconditionally, and that shredded upholstery is a small price to pay for a life-long friend.

Lesson In Life

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.

Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either.

You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it.

Many Weird and Hilarious Events Happened today!

Last Period was Physics had so much fun.. My was playing with his paper plane!! Got Caught by teacher and had to stand outside, " dude ur hilarious! " i told the teacher he was jst reliving his childhood memories haha!! Had a new imaginary friend called "Albert" i don't know why Albert but its the name that got into my head, haha he is born on the 2nd of April 2009 during physics lesson!! Class has ended, the 4 crazy girls shared a glass of vodka.. well i guess she ain't tough.. after 15minutes her ears turned red, she felt really warm and soon she was red all over! Really Hilarious, She was DRUNK! She ain't normal, as she usually she sits on a chair and does not go around talking to people, but as she was drunk she walk around the canteen.. she even took shower in the water cooler haha!
WEll yeah had lots of fun laughing at you! THANKS!! HEHE!

My Essay on Friends..

Friends

Ever since I was a child, my mother raised me to recognize and appreciate various kinds of friends. There are three different kinds of friends in this life. I classify them according to how well I know them and how well they know me. We encounter each of them everyday, whether in school, home, or at the gym. However, we rarely spend much time actually thinking about and classifying these people. First, there are the "pest friends"- general acquaintances. Next, there are "guest friends"- social partners. Lastly, we have "best friends"- our true friends.

The first type of friend is simply an acquaintance. This means that you basically only know their name. You might not even remember what they look like if you go away for a
short vacation. Usually, you meet these type of friends in school, at work, on the bus, in
the gym, or anywhere else you might be. You normally would not mind having a cup of coffee with them, but if anything else came up, you usually would have no problem parting company.

You normally don’t miss them when they are elsewhere. It is also this type of friends who give you the most amount of aggravation. Since most of the time you are placed in a position where you have to act friendly, such as school or work, you would not normally tell an acquaintance when he or she is doing something aggravating, such as tapping the fingers an a table or chewing gum loudly. This is why I call them "pest friends." The second category of friends I call "social partners." This is because they are closer than acquaintances, but no where near as close as a true friend. Social partners are usually acquaintances who evolve into "guest friends" through increased extracurricular activities. You know their name, a little of what they like or dislike, a little of their family history, and usually have several things in common. As the saying goes, "Birds of a feather flock together," so too the social partners have to have several things in common with you. No one is going to want to spend any more time than necessary with somebody completely opposite and aggravating to him.

Keep in mind, though, that the biggest thing that distinguishes a "best friend" from a "guest friend" is the fact that "guess friends" usually don’t converse about anything substantial or deep, such as their innermost desires and fears. Usually, "guest friends" toy to keep the topic of conversation happy and light. They would not open up to you how they are really feeling. They are still preoccupied with "saving face." You still do enjoy hanging out with them. But when the going gets tough, they are not there for you. The last type of friend is the "best friend." Normally, you know them the longest. You probably grew up together as children. He or she knows everything about you. Likewise, you know everything about him or her. They are basically like family. You would have no problem if they spent the night at your house. You know each others quirks and habits and can always tell when there is something wrong. You would not hesitate to share your deepest feelings or thoughts with them. "A true friend will see you through when others see that you are through." A true friend has no problem correcting you when you are wrong, or being stern
with you when you are out of line. Likewise, a true friend will love you like a member of his own family. He will always be there for you. They are not perfect, but at least they will always look out for you and never do anything intentionally to hurt you.

On a final note, I would like to take some time to say that we should always remember keep in mind what kind of a friend we are to other people. We are all surrounded by pest, guest, and best friends. We should always strive to be the best friends, that we can be. Also, as the saying goes, " You can’t use your friends and have them too." We should appreciate and value all friendships that come into our lives, no matter how deep or superficial. We should always remember that all best friends started out as just acquaintances.

An Inspiring Story:

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.

When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

Wednesday!

Long Time Since Last Updated, i have not updated on 15 february the day me & freinds went to East Coast Park..

2day's Wednesday!

Missed the bus because i had to rush to buy a sweet for someone, going out of the store i saw the bus but didn't give chase, i thought i was gonna be late but with a positive mind i arrive jst on time. =D

1st period was Chem, had an easy test, kinda weird whenever i bring both books the teacher's on leave. the relief teacher was alrite he hav cold jokes but people laugh, did the test ( easy) hopefully i wont fail, slept the next period was bored and sleepy..

Recess: 2day's recess was horrible! No Meat! in commemoration for Total Defense Day. They don't sell drinks worst recess ever, things couldn't get worst after the assembly went back to class to my shock electricity was turned off! WTF : Stuffy and Not a Condusive Environment.. Was English as it was warm i was not in a mood to do my English Comprehension instead i slept for the whole 2 periods.. Ohya Thanks Grace ur Creative, she was good in origami ( paper folding)
Then there was History, which happens only once a week during wednesday would sit beside my friend, 2day had fun she tinks im a paper whom she can highlight with different highlighers (Coulorful Girl). She was Irritating But Same time fun as she made me forgot that the electricity was off. As a revenge i wrote my name on her arm haha she cant do anything about it hehe, Sorry! But Thanks =D

Went to Parkway to buy white shoe laces, got caught by a teacher.. wtf there is noting wrong with my black shoe laces.. zzz -.-"
I dislike school there is not a day that i hav no hw!..

January is Finally Over! Gd Bye January,Hello February!

TODAY-

Went to marine parade library with my best friend in the afternoon, manage to complete my maths hw, 1 down more to go. -Sec3 very busy!- Went to Aston's at 4.15 to eat coz she was very hungry. 1st time had an early dinner! HeHe. Ate and Chat

After eating walked to parkway went to ___I forgot the name of the shop____ to check out the new album " Love 101" which features the love songs of all time.. 6 cd's in a price of one! Found it but the price was not what i expected, expensive.( $22.90)
Next went to "Sembawang" to check if it was cheaper fortunately the price was ($21.90) cheaper by a dollar.
My Friend Suggested to go to "Borders" while browsing for books i came upon it, and it was ($20.90) unbelievable but true!. Sat on the corner listening to my favourite songs while my friend was trying her very best to memorise Chemistry( Kinetic Particle theory). Got Bored , so i decided to window shop, bought a Book Mark.. Borders Has =Free AirCon-

Went to Popular to check it out, she was sure that it was cheaper and yeah it was! ($19.90)
Wow.. i finally bought it. Saved $3!
Moral: Check other shop, Buy At Popular! =D

Ate Dessert at 32 farenheith she ordered coffee special.(her favorite) Was not hungry so she ordered only 1 and we shared,thnx =D Ate, Talked & Laughed.

Self-Praise, She said she is a lucky person so i should go out with her more often =.=
Went Home Tired with A Smile On My Face.. Overall = Had Fun =D

Tuesday!

It was Boring during day but enjoyed during the afternoon.

1st subj of 3periods was Literature, it was totally boring! Seriously it hell boring.. the teacher talked for 1hr straight, she read to us the book, explaining, she didn't stopped to catch her breathe nor take a sip of water. My mind was On for 45mins till it just switch Off. I tried to get myself back into track, i started doing stupid things --- i slapped myself to keep myself awake ,did some stretching but all failed. The clock stole my attention , stared at it and was waiting for the short hand to point to 9 , long hand to point to 7.
At last the bell rang YAY! Out of that boring class.. Oh No next 1period of English!

Noting to talk about English, I bought the book and we haven't even used it yet what a waste.. She likes Comprehension and Compo..

3rd subj of 1period was Physics, which was s0-s0, finally i understand what the teacher was teaching even though his lessons were dull and boring. But had a problem understanding pendulum.

4th subj of 2periodz was Dnt, which was alright, the teacher was strict but hilarious. Had to redo my homework it was wrong not everything,just needed to make some minor changes..

5tth and last subj was English continues,total have 3 periods of English.
The Teacher Gave Comprehension Worksheet On Whales. Before starting the paper had an argument with my classmate who sits just behind me on the SE(South-East), she was annoying and irritating btw she was the Chairman! I forgot how it started
We just cant get along. I hope we will get along in the near future.. Hopefully..

Class Ended at 1.40! So Early the other classes ended at 2.50 so waited for my friends, while waiting i decided to play basketball, i was thirsty and covered in sweat. Had fun playing.

Finally my friends came, we went to the hawker jst across the street to have our late lunch, walked there said goodbye to my other friends. On the way there, we ran across our senior,so we ask him wheter he wanted to tag along. My friend treated us, as it was his bday the day after 2mrw which was 22nd advance happy-bdy to him and thnx=D
Ordered Hickory-BBQ Chicken at HolyGrill, i was curious and asked the seller what was the tasty rice, he replied confidently " Sure When You Ate It,Sure You Will Give A Thumbsup" haha. so i tried.. it was alrite but the serving of the side-dish was small not like in Aston's( almost all the food in the menu i have tried =D ) Im Growing Fat I know! But Life's Like That, You Have To Enjoy, its only Once!

While walking to the busstop we saw our bus, there were lots of people bording,we could still make it but decided not to as it was full so i stopped giving chase.. While waiting for the bus saw my friend who was in netball asked her how was the match and she said they won.Our school trash the other team hands down 19-3..

Saturday!

2day woke up early, my beauty rest was disturve, was late for school as the alarm clock rang late..
Luckly reached school exactly at 8am(SO EARLY!) was suppose to help Mr,Zainal for the CCA OPEN HOUSE.. I was told to come at 8,i waited for almost 45minsunitl they all turn up and started preparing.. Noting more to talk abt it, but overall it was fun.. =D

It ended at 12,was so hungry as i ate only 2slice of bread, Mr.Zainal gave us a treat at Macdonalds ! Saw Gina my bestfriend with her friends.. Ordered a MegaMAc, it was HUGE.. Ate and Laughed.. They R making fun of me , coz i talk abt free things, like free pencils from ikea my friend was hilarious he told me that i can refill at macs if i ran out of ketchup jst bring the bottle wat an asshole! Had so much fun ,laughed till m cheekbones hurts.. they all laughed when i said smthing tat is free.. Thank You Mr,Zainal for the Scrumptious meal..

So many people now-a-days aren't truly happy in life. Why? Well this is a complicated issue and has a lot to do with people not being happy with who they are. It has been Long time since i last updated,

School was alright , the same heavy books-->Boring Class. 1st period was Literature, the teacher was late which was awesome! coz i had the free time to do my English homework.

2nd was maths, its simple we are learning "indices". 1st time to hear the class laugh thnx to my classmate.

Then there was PE which was weird because its suppose to be our recess instead it was swapped. Worst Still, He is the PE teacher which i dislike, he drags time.. He Talk More Than We Do, often we don't get things done.

Recess, My Favorite Period, Break Time, but sadly i didn't get to see my friends =(
the canteen was packed with little cute children, lower secs
Ate Teryaki Chicken my fav food out of all the food they selling. "Thursday's Only"

4th was English, which was fun as we are told to write composition which i like to do =D
Sat with Edward, it took me really long to finish my draft, when i was re-writting i ask edward for the time and he told me 5secs left! But i manage to complete it on time =D

Last but not the least Physics , #$%^&* = it was boring, and the teacher speak so soft, he does not care abt the others,i didnt understand a thing. Im like bored and sleepy i change sit coz i was short sighted, i sat wit this guy he was not listening at all he cnt be bothered he was smsing and after that he was playing wit his electronic dictionary, he was shocked when i told him there will be a test, then i look at the clock and told him " why are the hands of the clock moving so slow, when your bored and noting to do time seems to move really long, but when your having so much fun it flies.

After school went to have late lunch with friends, Ate and Laughed.
